Indonesia Scientific Society (ISS)
Founded on 9 July 2019 in Bandung by three visionary educators—Doni Nurdiansyah, S.Si., Gr., Iwan Budiman, S.Si., M.Pd., and Subagja Agustinus, S.Pd., Gr.—the Indonesia Scientific Society (ISS) is a non-profit organisation devoted to cultivating Indonesia’s next generation of scientists, innovators, and STEM educators. Born from a shared conviction that curiosity-driven research is the engine of national progress, ISS forges an inclusive ecosystem that connects students, teachers, academics, and industry partners in collaborative, impact-oriented programmes.
What We Do

Our Mission & Vision

We envisage a future in which Indonesian youth lead global discoveries in renewable energy, health science, sustainable agriculture, and frontier technologies.

In the coming years, ISS will:
- Expand its programmes to every Indonesian province through a hybrid digital-onsite model.
- Launch cross-border research fellowships addressing pressing issues such as climate resilience and public health.
- Build an open data repository and virtual lab platform to democratise access to quality scientific resources nationwide.
