Bandung, August 27, 2026 – The International Applied Physics Olympiad (IAPHO) 2026 was officially held at Hotel Savoy Homann, Bandung, Indonesia, from August 27–30, 2026. This prestigious international applied physics competition brought together 127 participants from 11 countries to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills in the field of applied physics.
IAPHO 2026 provided an exceptional platform for young students and researchers to showcase their scientific abilities, creativity, analytical thinking, and capacity to apply physics concepts to real-world problems. Beyond the competition, participants had the opportunity to expand their international networks, exchange academic experiences, and build lasting friendships with delegates from around the world.

Opening Remarks by the Organizing Committee Chair
The Chair of the Organizing Committee, Iwan Budiman, S.Si., M.Pd., expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the successful organization of the International Applied Physics Olympiad (IAPHO) 2026 in Indonesia.
“Welcome to all participants, mentors, and delegates from 11 countries. All participants' projects and works were objectively evaluated by a distinguished panel of professors and experienced academics in physics and science education:
